Carl S. Maxin III, 74, of Coraopolis passed away on October 14, 2018. Born March 25, 1944, in Sewickley, PA, he was the son of the late Carl S. II and Katherine (Almacy) Maxin. Beloved husband of 25 years to Alice (Diamond) Maxin and preceded in death by his first wife of 28 years, Vassiliki (Krothianakis) Maxin.

Proud father of Carl S. (Karen) Maxin IV of Rockville, MD, Maria Katherine Maxin Brady of Havre de Grace, MD, Daniel D. Maxin and Ronald D. Maxin, both of Aliquippa, PA, and Crystal Dawn Maxin of Crescent, PA. Loving grandfather of Natalie and Michael Brady, Carl S. V, Nicholas and Zachary Maxin. Protective and loving brother of Sandra (John) DeVincentis of Jacksonville, FL, Louis (Kathryn) Maxin of Tarentum, PA, Scott (Lori) Maxin of McKees Rocks, PA, and half brother of Carrie (Keith) Coyne of Ohio, Wendy Jones of Minnesota, and Randy (Rick) Maxin of Ohio.

Carl was a retired steelworker and enjoyed hunting, fishing, FOX News, American history, and crossword puzzles. He was a devoted Steelers fan. Carl will be dearly missed by his family and all those who loved him.
