Carl W. Owens April 04, 1930 – May 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Carl W. Owens, 89, of Charles Town died Monday, May 20, 2019 at Care Haven Center, Martinsburg. Born April 4, 1930 in Clearbrook, Virginia. He was the son of Roy Owens and Minnie Owens.

Mr. Owens worked for Clendening Motor Company as a Mechanic and Jay’s Automotive. Member Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 948, Charles Town. Mr. Owens is survived by his daughters, Linda Lou Alger, of Romney, Kathy Johnson and husband Randy, of Ranson, son, Ronald Lee Owens and wife Diana, of Winchester, Virginia; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hamilton Owens who died Dec.

5, 1994; son, Thomas W. Owens; sisters, Dorothy Hawkins and Eva Largent; brother, Raymond Owens and step-brother, James Owens. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town with Pastor Mark Compton officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg.
