Obituary for Carletta Michel Carletta Michel, 83, died Wednesday, Nov 28, 2018, at Grand Island Lakeview LLC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec 4, 2018 at 11 am, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate.

Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna following the service. Carletta was born on July 9, 1935 to Carl and Evelyn (Lux) Stark.

She was raised and received her education in Ravenna. After high school, she attended beauty school in York. She was married to Donavone Michel for 20 years and together they had four children.

Carletta retired from the Veteran’s Home after 23 years of service as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed reading and at one time donated 750 books to the Grand Island Library, after she read them. She loved watching westerns and spending time with her family.

Those that will forever cherish her memory are her children, Billy Carl (Marilyn) Michel, Sherry (Tommy) Muller, Cindy (Sam) Irvine, Danny Michel; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild. Carletta was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gary Stark; and one great grandchild, Rory Vaught. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
