Obituary for Carlos J. Mills Carlos J. Mills, 38, of Tyrone died Sunday August 19, 2018. He was born December 19, 1979 in Altoona, a son of Charles Mills Sr. and Roberta Sparkuhle. Surviving are his mother of Tyrone, his father and step-mother Jeanie Mills of Tyrone, two brothers; Ron Greene and Jerry Mills both of Tyrone, three sisters; Andrea Sanoja of Arlington, Texas, Tammy Mills of Tyrone, Danielle Mills-Bowser of Reading.
He was preceded in death by a sister Jody Mills Tomasello, a brother Charles Mills Jr. and a step-father Rolf Sparkuhle. He had previously been employed as manager of the American Legion, Greencastle, at Charlie’s Auto, Tyrone and did some self-employed painting. He was a 1998 graduate of Tyrone Area High School.
Carlos enjoyed snowboarding, kayaking, and was involved with Habitat for Humanity at Penn State. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Feller Memorial Home on Saturday August 25, 2018 from 2 P.M. until the funeral service at 4 P.M., Ministerial Care Director of Community Worship Center, Jesse Ammon officiating.
