OBITUARY Carol A MCLAUGHLIN March 28, 1941 – October 22, 2018 Carol Ann Mclaughlin (Lavecka), 77 of Manahawkin, NJ passed away Monday 10/22/2018 peacefully in her home. Mrs. Mclaughlin was born and raised in Irvington, NJ graduating from Irvington High School in 1959 before marrying, raising a family and moving to Brick, NJ. Carol worked for Kimball Medical Center for greater than 30 years before retiring in 2005 finally relocating to Manahawkin, NJ.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband William (Scott) McLaughlin and sister Rose Strohschein. She is survived by her 3 children, sons; William, Greg and his wife Colleen and her daughter Laura McLaughlin and her grandchildren Brittany, Billy Nicholas and Rebecca as well as nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing Thursday, October 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a brief service at 10:30 a.m. at the Thos L. Shinn’s Funeral Home 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin NJ 08050.

Her family will privately escort Carol to her final resting place at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. To leave online condolences for the family, please visit www.
