Obituary for Carol Ann (Abbott) Felides Carol Ann Felides, 65, of Exeter, NH, long-time resident of Londonderry, NH passed away on June 19, 2018 at home. She was born on May 22, 1953 to the late Charles and Margaret “Claire” (Downes) Abbott in Methuen, MA. Carol attended school at St. Mary’s High School graduating with the Class of 1971, and attended Newbury College graduating with the Class of 1997.

Carol worked for many years as a physical therapist for Genesis Rehab, where she loved caring for her many patients. Carol was a devout lifelong Catholic who volunteered for many different causes, such as donating time at various church functions, to cooking and serving meals for the homeless during the holidays. She was a selfless woman who was a diehard Red Sox fan, she enjoyed swimming, gardening, reading, and cycling.

Carol touched many lives, in many different circles, and will be missed by all. Carol is survived by her beloved son, Alexander William Felides. and his wife Elizabeth Ann Felides of Groveland, MA, and her two sons Andrew O’Hara and Jack Drelick.

She was the cherished sister to her four siblings; her brother, Charles and his wife Donna Abbott of Ocala, FL, her sister, Susan Rousseau of Methuen, MA, her sister, Diane and her husband Richard Vaccari of New Boston, NH, and her sister, Joan and her husband Doug Calder of Sandown, NH. Carol is also survived by her nephew, Joey Laboy, who she treated as a second son, and whose military service she was endlessly proud of. She was also loved, and will be missed by her Sisters-in-Law, Elaine Fay, Marianne Felides Bennett, and Athena Melucci and her husband Richard.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who all loved her, and were recipients of her generous spirit. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William N. Felides, in December of 1994. Visitation for Carol will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 9 – 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen.

Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11 AM at Saint Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Metheun. Inurnment to follow at St. Mary Immaculate – Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence.
