Obituary for Peter Robertson III Peter Robertson, III, a resident of Andover, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 10, 2018. He was 54 years old. Peter was born in North Tarrytown (now Sleepy Hollow), NY on July 3, 1964 to the late Peter and Barbara R. (Muskewicz) Robertson, Jr. Peter grew up in Andover and studied culinary arts at the Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School.

Peter had an outgoing personality and could easily strike up a conversation. He always saw the best in people and was a steadfast friend. Peter was energetic and actively involved in sports during his life.

He attained a brown belt in karate, won numerous trophies in his weekly bowling league, earned a gold medal in the State’s qualifying tournament for swimming in the Special Olympics and set a school record for the 50 yard dash. Peter remained active and walked daily. Peter had interests in military history, sci-fi and mythology.

He was a lifelong lover of animals and spending time with his dogs brought him the greatest happiness. Peter is survived by his son Peter, IV and his sister Jennifer, both of Andover; as well as his aunt, uncles, many cousins and friends. Peter was laid to rest at the Robertson Family Lot at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
