Carol’s Obituary Carol Ann Farr, 83, of Bonne Terre, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Country Meadows in Park Hills. She was born September 19, 1935 to the late Frederick A. and Hazel (Schreiber) Major in St. Louis, Missouri. Carol was one of the first female math students at Southeast Missouri State University and taught math for over 25 years in the North County School District.

She was also a part time math teacher for Normandy Middle School. Carol was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre, Daughters of Isabella, DAR, and Red Hats. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her son, Robert M. Farr; siblings, Frederick W. Major and Lois M. Sarnecki.

Carol is survived by her husband of over 61 years, Charles E. Farr Sr.; children, Charles “Chuck” (Lynn) Farr Jr., William “Bill” (Tracy) Farr Sr., David (Kimberly) Farr, and Mary (Paul Adams) Gantz; grandchildren, Charles “Chuckie” (Danielle) Farr III, Alicia (Tommy Drum) Schenavar, Adam (Melissa) Schenavar, Matthew (Rebecca) Farr, Kayla Farr, Billy Farr Jr., Julianna Farr, Evan Farr, Colin Farr, Owen Farr, Anna Gantz, Erin Gantz, and Daniel Gantz; greatgrandchildren, Katelyn Farr, Brooklyn Farr, and Grant Farr; and many other family and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral mass will begin 10:00 am on Monday, March 25, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre with Rev.

Stephen Bauer officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
