Memorial services for Carol Christenson, age 68, of Albert Lea, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church. Pastor Shane Koepke will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Carol Christenson was born December 23, 1949 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Schultze) Christenson. She grew up in Robbinsdale and attended Louise Whitbeck Fraser School in Richfield, graduating in 1970. Carol was a member of ARC and worked for Cedar Valley Services.

She enjoyed watching movies, listening to Elvis, latch hook, and shopping. Carol especially liked going out to eat and spending time with family. Carol is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Beese; nieces, Amy (Jamison) Cichosz, Kari (Jeff) Severson; nephew, Christian (Chelanie) Beese; great-nieces, Mika Cichosz, Brie, Severson, and Allison Beese; great-nephews, Campbell Cichosz, Gavin Cichosz, Burke Cichosz, and Beck Severson.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna; and brother-in-law, Gary Beese. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to ARC or donor’s choice.
