Carol’s Obituary Carol Dean Thornton was born June 9, 1954 in Wilson, Oklahoma. She passed away April 28, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was greeted into Heaven by her mother Jewel Bernice Whisenhunt, her father Leo Welch and step-father Charles Page and her sister Rita Kay Phillips, her 2 brothers: Richard Campos and Tom Welch For years she battled all types of cancer until her passing.

All her life she supported women empowerment and she showed it very well. Carol was a strong empowered fighter. She accomplished so much with her life partner, Isael Hinojosa.

She gave birth to two beautiful children Renee Welch and James Isael Hinojosa. Her family continued to grow with her daughter-in-law Tiffany Hinojosa. Carol has 4 grandchildren whom she loved so very much, Mercedes Renee Welch, Alexis Carol Welch, James Alexander Hinojosa, and Angelina-Marie Jewel Hinojosa.

We are all praying for her to REST IN PEACE.
