Carol Dunagan Steier, 59 of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Winter Park, Florida to Joe and Bettie O’Leary Dunagan. Carol lived in Camilla, GA for years.

Carol was the Director of Organizational Infrastructure for Hi-Hope Service Center. She was a member of the Single Action Shooting Society, Cherokee Cowboys, and Piedmont Regulators. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Joe Dunagan.

Survivors include her husband, David Steier; son, Daniel Steier; mother, Bettie Dunagan; brother, Rev. Joe K. Dunagan; sisters, Barbara Baxter and Ann Roberts. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.
