Carol Joan Schlieman, 89, daughter of Leonard & Nyla (Kraft) Schlieman, was born March 29, 1929 near Ogden, Iowa in Boone County. She passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center, Iowa. The family farmed in Greene and Guthrie Counties and moved from Victory Township to Panora in 1935.

She attended school in Panora and graduated from Panora High School in 1946. She was employed as secretary for John Donahey, Attorney in Panora for 25 years.
