Carol’s Obituary Carol Jean Cash (Steen), 75, of St. Clair passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in Washington. Mrs. Cash, daughter of William Steen and wife Florence (White) was born August 13, 1943 in Sullivan. She was united in marriage to Buford “Punch” Cash on October 2, 1962 and was blessed with two daughters.

Mrs. Cash was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florence Steen; her husband, Buford “Punch” Cash and her youngest daughter, Karen Wheeler. She is survived by one daughter, Shelli Cash Winders of Stephenville, TX; son-in-law, Charles Wheeler; two brothers, Billy “Sonny” Steen and wife Carole of St. Charles and John Steen of Eugene, OR; one sister, Judy Nickelson-Budde and husband Doug of Florissant; four grandchildren, Scott Allen Wheeler, Charles Wheeler Jr., Dal Wheeler and Karah Wheeler; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research are preferred.
