Elaine’s Obituary Elaine N. Kampmann Née Leesmann went to meet the Lord on March 21, 2019. She passed away peacefully at her home in Union, MO, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, Arlen and three children, Bryan (Jennifer), Kimberly Osthoff (Randal), and Paul (Marsha), grandchildren, Elliot Osthoff, Elanna Osthoff, Katelynn Holdmeyer (Douglas), Kyle Kampmann and one great-grandchild, Luke Holdmeyer.

Brother Lester Leesmann (Paula). Sisters, Jeanette Fisher, Lorie Shipley (George), Carol Dixon ( Mel), sisters-in-law Jane Leesmann and Patricia Leesmann, many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Edwin and Flora Leesmann and five brothers, Edwin, Jr., Floyd, Harold (Betty), Charles (Irene) and Richard.

Sister-in-law Dolores Jungermann (Charles). Elaine spent most of her career as a life skills instructor for special needs adults. She enjoyed dancing, lawn mowing, antiquing, baking, watching Cardinal baseball and convertible rides ending in her favorite places for a “snack”.

Time with family and friends and sharing old stories were her best days. In appreciation for the wonderful care we received, we are asking for donations to Mercy Hospice – Washington, Memorial Fund, 1351 S. Jefferson Street, Ste. 206, Washington, MO 63090 in lieu of flowers.
