Obituary for Carol P. Smith (Adamson) Carol P. (Adamson) Smith, 84, of Indianapolis, peacefully went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2018. She was born to William E. and Jeanette A. (David) Adamson on May 12, 1934 in Indianapolis. She graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1952.

Carol is survived by three loving children, James W. (Sherry) Smith of Texas, Marianne (Tony) Brown of Indianapolis and Rex (Lori) Smith of Indianapolis; four loving grandchildren, Jacob Holt, Kelsey (Smith) Everitt, Cody Smith and Kendall Smith; three great grandchildren: Hadleigh Everitt, Tatum and Caden Smith; and a loving sister, Bonny Robertson. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Melinda Wiley; and a granddaughter, Amy Aguayo. Carol was a Secretary-Bookkeeper for Devonshire Automotive Service for 20 years, retiring in 2009.

Previously, she worked for Junior Achievement in Indianapolis for 25 years. She was a member of West Newton United Methodist Church. She was a sports enthusiast and played catcher in softball leagues for five years.

She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends may show their love and support from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 20th and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21st at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Charles Paxton will officiate the Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
