Caroline Stasikelis passed away on May 22, 2018. She was born in Gardner, Massachusetts, daughter of Lillian (Swalina) and Ladislos Stasikelis. She attended local schools and graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Henry Heywood Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

She practiced Pediatric nursing there for several years, then Occupational Health at the Foster Grant Company which at that time was the world’s largest manufacturer of sunglasses. She moved to Summerville, South Carolina, holding various nursing positions and retired from Health South Rehabilitation Hospital. She also volunteered at the Summerville Hospital many years and was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.

She recently moved to Gainesville, Georgia to be closer to family. Survivors are her sister Barbara Alexander of Gainesville, GA, a nephew Mark (Michelle) and their two sons Boone and Peter also of Gainesville and a niece Marlene of Atlanta. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother George.

Funeral services will be private and burial will be in Massachusetts. Memorials in her name may be made to St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 26 Sumter Avenue, Summerville, SC 29485 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 81 Gadsden Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
