Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn A Thurlby age 72 of Lansing, MI passed away March 6, 2019. She was born on September 18, 1946 in Lansing the daughter of Robert and Annamay (Holmes) Epps. Carolyn married Thomas D Thurlby on July 18, 1964, he passed away May 3, 2014.

She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gambling at the casino, crocheting and crossword puzzles. Surviving are her children Anna Reed of Lansing, Tommy (Debra) Thurlby of Fowler and Sandra (Jeremy) Cooper of Ovid; daughter-in-law Debbie Thurlby of Ionia; grandchildren Craig (Brittany) Ritter, Kyle (Bionca) Ritter, Brianna Thurlby and Brandon Thurlby; 7 great grandchildren; brothers Terry (Diane) Epps of Coldwater, Robert (Clarece) Epps of Lansing; sisters Sandra Epps of Lansing, Laura (Jeff) Keener of Lansing and Chris (Roger) Robertson of Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Lloyd Thurlby and sister Linda Gray. Funeral services will be held at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Thursday, March 14th at 12:00 PM with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment East Plains Cemetery.
