Carolyn J. Martin, age 74, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, after a brief illness. Carolyn was the daughter of Ken and Ruth (Bongratz) Eley and was born in Toledo on September 29, 1944. She was the owner and operator of Carolyn’s Cakes and Carolyn’s Telegram Factory.

She was a loving mother and homemaker and dance was always a big part of her life. Carolyn enjoyed working with miniatures and was a member and Past President of T.A.M.E.

She was an avid camper and loved to travel. She was also active at the Bedford Senior Center. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Robert.

She is survived by her daughters Stephanie (Jim) Briskey and Andrea (Greg) Piskula; grandchildren Bryan (Tabetha) Briskey, Jessica Briskey and Theresa (Preston) Cunningham; brothers Richard (Mimi) and Thomas (Joyce) Eley and a large extended family. Family and friends may visit at the W. K. Sujkowski and Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy.
