Carolyn Lee Dillon was born October 27, 1953, in Duncan to Ernest Dee and Virginia “Ginger” Nix Day. She passed away on Friday, November 9, at the age of 65. Family visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, 5:30-7:30 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 14, at 1:30 P.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tracy Wilson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Carolyn married Darrell Dillon on May 15, 1970 in Henrietta, Texas. They had two children, David and Melissa. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1971.

She was employed as an administrative assistant at AXA Advisors. She loved to sew and knit. She enjoyed watching Oklahoma State University sports and motocross racing.

She also enjoyed reading and gardening. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Darrell; children, David Dillon and Melissa Teakell and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Damon Dillon, Lexi and Dillon Teakell; mother, Ginger Day; sisters, Marilyn Day Pixley and Kathy Day Thompson and husband Ronnie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Day.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Anthony, Rick Griffith, Blake McEntire, Wade Williams, Jerry Wilson, and Tracy Pettigrew. Memorial contributions in Carolyn’s name can be made to the Taylor LeNorman Cancer Center, 2110 Duncan Regional Loop Road, Duncan, OK 73533. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.
