Obituary for Carolyn Lou Knott Carolyn Lou Knott, a long time resident of Yuba City, died peacefully in her sleep on May 29, 2018, in Yuba City, California. She was born on May 27, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ralph Edwin and Audrey (Cox) Knott, both have passed. She is survived by two sisters, Beverly Eguaras of Elk Grove, CA and Kathleen McCann and husband Mike of Jordan, Utah; 6 nephews, Eric Eguaras and wife Lea of Chico, Jared Eguaras and wife Tonya of Bossier City, Louisiana, Chad Eguaras of Sacramento, Kevin McCann and wife Rebecca of Sacramento, Scott McCann of Utah, Ryan McCann of Utah and 2 nieces Celeste Southwick and husband Brad of Utah and Heather Christensen and husband Kenyon of Utah.

Carolyn graduated from Yuba City High School in 1969 and worked and retired from Sunsweet Growers. She was a member of the Clark Avenue Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Yuba City. She struggled most of life with a very rare heredity disease called Adrenoleukodystrophy which affected her mental and physical functions of her body.

Her immediate family and the church have provided support for over the years. Special thanks to caregivers Wilma Sheffield and Arun Singh who have provided special care for Carolyn. A graveside service with be held at the Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave.
