Obituary for Carolyn Roark Carolyn Roark, 64, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Enon, Ohio. She was born December 11, 1953 in Springfield, Ohio to Homer and Ethel Pyles. Carolyn is a retired teacher from Russell Independent School System in Russell, Ky.

Carolyn’s favorite pastimes included spending time with her girls and family, researching genealogy, and crocheting for the prayer shawl ministry at Enon United Methodist Church, just to name a few. Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Katie (Chris) Chapman of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Carrie Roark of Enon, Ohio. Carolyn was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Richard Roark.

Carolyn was loved by many family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 1:30 pm, in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, Flatwoods, Kentucky. Adkins Funeral Home, Enon is assisting Carolyn’s family with her final wishes.
