Carrol Isbell, 79, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Owensboro Center. He was born in Daviess County on August 17, 1939 to Estle James and Veva Milna Hancock Isbell. He was a member of Wing Avenue Baptist Church.

He enjoyed singing, playing games and especially enjoyed his family and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Fugate Isbell, his brothers, N. Kenneth Isbell, James C. Isbell, Estle S. Isbell, and his sister, Doris Jean Kirk. Carrol is survived by his sister, Joyce (Dale) Winchester of Highland, Indiana, his sister-in-law Nina Isbell of Smyrna, Tennessee, his nieces, Jane Carol, Mary Margaret Johnson, his nephews, David, James L., Dan, John, and Ricky Isbell, and one great-niece, Harley Elizabeth Hall.

Services will be noon Friday, May 24, 2019 at Wing Avenue Baptist Church, with David Isbell officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service Friday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation; 3 Columbus Circle 15 Floor; New York, New York 10019. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Isbell.
