Casey Todd Davenport March 25, 1985 ~ September 12, 2018 Our beloved son, brother, and uncle Casey Todd Davenport, 33, was called home on his grandpa’s birthday, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Casey was born in Ogden, UT, on March 25, 1985 to Les and Trish Schlange Davenport. Casey was a mischievous, wild, but sweet boy who used his beautiful blue eyes to work his way out a trouble more than once.

He struggled with addiction for many years, but on April 9, 2017, Casey started his path back to the light. He had a fierce passion for his sobriety. A passion he passed on to so many others.

Casey was a true example that even that most broken soul can overcome any battle and shine again. He had a deep and abiding love for his recovery family. Casey’s greatest love was his family, most especially his two nephews, “Gordo” Izeley and Yanni Mac.

“Unc” never showed up without presents earning him the nickname “Uncle Claus”. Casey was always a Momma’s boy, and wasn’t ashamed to let everyone know it. He was her protector and best friend.

He loved his big Sissy Brooke and loved seeing who could out smart ass who. Casey never missed a week without bringing his Grandma Darlene flowers. At the time of his passing he was employed at Associated Foods where he was just promoted to the dock to driver program.

Casey left this world a better place; being the version of himself he could be. Casey is survived by his mom, Trish; sister, Brooke (Brian) Daniels; nephews, Iseley Gordon and Yannick Daniels; his Grandma Darlene; his best friend and mentor, Nick Haddon; as well as a large extended family who loved and adored him. He was preceded in death by his father, Les Davenport; Gramps, Don Schlange; and Grandmother, Judy Davenport.

My Baby You are my treasure. How I love you! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful journey.
