Susan was a devout Christian, a wonderful mother, and a great friend to all those that knew her. Susan converted to Christianity and was an active member of multiple congregations.

She had a strong faith in God and her Savior Jesus, to which she dedicated her life to and worked to share God with others. Susan was born on November 27, 1942 in Alhambra, California to Vivian Marie Carson and Howard James Beard. She was later adopted by Leroy Allen Cramer.

She did everything she could to ensure they were successful in their lives. She would always spend extra time with her children and made them into the strong adults they’ve all become. After losing her daughter Melody, she made a point of ensuring her children and grandchildren never forget how special they were to her.

One of the legacies Susan left to her children was her extraordinary cooking. Once she learned a recipe, she rarely used a cookbook. Her fantastic cooking kept her children coming together to visit throughout the years.

Susan was also dedicated to her education. Susan graduated from Pasadena City College in Pasadena, CA. in 1962 with an Associate’s Degree.

She often told the story of how she got to sit on the 50 yard line for her graduation ceremony in the Rose Bowl. After her children were in school, she chose to continue her education, graduating with honors from Weber State University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree. Later in life, she enjoyed her two dogs, Bobbie Jo and Judy.

She was a big fan of the Utah Jazz. Preceding her in death: Melody Walker, daughter; Paul D Welsh Jr., grandson: and her parents.
