Catherine Jones Ross, 73, passed away May 2, 2019. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late J.W. and Louise Bailey Jones, she was a homemaker. She was one of the strongest women we ever knew, and was of the Baptist faith.

She was a shut-in for many years but her grandson was the highlight of her life. She found comfort and peace in the grand puppies and was loving on them as her last memory at home. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Allen Ross; two daughters, Rhonda Ross and Kim Koon (Ronnie); and one grandson, Blaine Gambrell.

Funeral services will be private. Receiving of friends will be held 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
