CATHERINE’s Obituary CATHERINE BARBER KENNER, 88; NATIVE OF CHRISTIAN CO. , KY; WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE ROBERT BARBER AND SYLVESTER MCGREGOR BARBER. CATHERINE WAS A MEMBER OF GAINESVILLE BAPTIST CHURCH.

WHILE ATTENDING SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MOTHER’S BOARD AND CHURCH CHOIR. CATHERINE LATER JOINED MEANS AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH. CATHERINE WAS A SUPERVISOR FOR U.S. TOBACCO.

SHE WORKED THERE FOR THIRTY-FIVE YEARS. IN HER SPARE TIME SHE ENJOYED FISHING, PUZZLES, COMPUTER GAMES, AND READING. CATHERINE WAS ALSO A PAST EASTERN STAR.

CATHERINE BARBER KENNER PASSED AWAY ON JANUARY 31, 2019 AT BRADFORD HEIGHTS. ALONG WITH HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY THREE CHILDREN, STELLA CRAIG; FREDDIE MONTGOMERY; AND MICHAEL WILLIAMS. SURVIVORS: CHILDREN: VERA (JACKIE) WHARTON; MARILYN THOMPSON; DARLENE THOMAS; ODESSA (JAMES) TERRY; CYNTHIA (WAYNE) SANDERS; KAREN WALLACE; OTIS WILLIAMS; MELTON WILLIAMS, JR.
