EMMA’s Obituary EMMA SUSIE MAJOR BLANE, 92; NATIVE OF CANTON, KY; WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE LEVI MAJORS AND ROSIE BRIDGES MAJORS. EMMA WAS MARRIED TO HER LOVING AND DEVOTED HUSBAND, ARTHUR H. BLANE. EARLY IN LIFE SHE JOINED CORINTH BAPTIST CHURCH.

WHILE THERE SHE SERVED AS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER AND DEACONESS. LATER, SHE JOINED VIRGINIA STREET BAPTIST CHURCH AND WAS A FAITHFUL MEMBER UNTIL HER HEALTH BEGAN TO FAIL. EMMA DID DOMESTIC WORK FOR MANY YEARS AFTER BEING A SCHOOL NURSE.

EMMA SUSIE BLANE PASSED AWAY ON MARCH 19, 2019 AT CHRISTIAN CARE NURSING HOME. ALONG WITH HER PARENTS, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, ARTHUR H. BLANE, AND ONE DAUGHTER, ROSE TAYLOR.
