HAZEL’s Obituary HAZEL MAE BELLE HUFFMAN, 70; NATIVE OF WARREN CO. , KY, WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JOHN H. HUFFMAN AND ANNIE MAE SOUTHERLAND COSBY HUFFMAN. HAZEL GRADUATED FROM BOWLING GREEN HIGH SCHOOL AND LATER ATTENDED BOWLING GREEN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL.

SHE WAS A MEMBER OF STATE STREET BAPTIST CHURCH. WHILE THERE SHE SERVED ON THE USHER BOARD; KITCHEN COMMITTEE; AND N.J. TEMPLE MISSIONARY SOCIETY. HAZEL WAS A FAITHFUL MEMBER TO HER CHURCH.

HAZEL WAS A RETIRED CAREGIVER, WORKING AT LIFE SKILLS FOR MANY YEARS. SHE WAS A PAST DAUGHTER RULER OF THE ELKS (HATTIE WOLFE TEMPLE) AND A PAST BARTENDER OF THE PAR MAKERS CLUB, THE ONLY AFRICAN AMERICAN GOLF CLUB IN BOWLING GREEN, KY. IN HER SPARE TIME SHE ENJOYED SHOPPING, PLAYING GAMES, COOKING, AND SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH HER FAMILY.

HAZEL MAE BELL HUFFMAN PASSED AWAY ON MARCH 28, 2019 AT GREENVIEW REGIONAL HOSPITAL. ALONG WITH HER PARENTS, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SISTER, LENA PEARL OFFUTT HAYES, ONE BROTHER, JOHN T. HUFFMAN, AND A SPECIAL FRIEND, RAYCIE LARUE. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.
