Following graduation “Cat” as she was so lovingly known by would attend Mansfield Business College and later earned her Nursing Certificate. One of her many favorite things to do was to be around her family and friends. At many family events she laughed and made others laugh with her unique sense of humor.

She had a way of getting her point across that would let everyone know she meant what she said and said what she meant. Cat didn’t mind giving and sharing with not only her family but with many others that she knew. Wherever she went, her genuine smile and joyous personality stood out and was seen by many.

Cat also enjoyed cooking and feeding her family. There was always something to eat at Aunt Cat’s house. She like to dress up, put on her perfume and jewelry and travel with her family.

Christmas 2018 she insisted that all her family gathered together for fun, food and fellowship. Cat showed love and was loved by many…. her family, friends, children and animals alike.

She was one of a kind…the one and only Aunt Cat. Preceding her in death by her father, O.C. Henderson; mother, Irene Henderson; brothers Grover Henderson, Doyce C.
