Obituary for Cecil Gayle Brown Cecil Gayle Brown, 69, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro on April 13, 1949 to the late James Brown and Eufala Baker Brown. Cecil especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Along with her parents, Cecil was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 6 sisters. Cecil is survived by her children: George Thomas Payne, Jr, Robert Allen Brown, Angela Gayle Singleton, Cynthia Carol Louden, Julia Ann Payne; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, her sisters Brenda Sandefur, of Elba, Kentucky and Viola Coomes, of Calhoun, Kentucky. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Cecil Brown memorial fund; 519 Locust Street; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
