Obituary for Arba Della Perry Arba Della Perry, 80, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Dogwood Estates. She was born April 13, 1938, in Co-Operative, KY to the late Carlie Dester West and Myra Della Williams-Perry. Arba was a homemaker who took great pride in taking care of her family.
In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, and was an avid quilter. She was a long time member of Second Baptist Church in Hartford. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Ben Harrison Perry, her brothers; Lester West, Billy Harold West, Joe West, sisters; Arminda Thomas, Sally Jean Perry.
Survivors include her children: a son; Darrell G. Perry (Kathy Diane) of Hartford, daughters; Karen Hayden (Thomas) of Beaver Dam, Dinah Wiggins (Len) of Paonia, CO, brothers; John West (Eydie) of Pine Knott, KY, Dester West (Aldena) of Lake Havasu, City, AZ, sisters; Sonia Widmayer of Cedar Rapids, MI, Anna Mae Ross of Elkhart, IN, grandchildren; Jonathan Minton, Catie Hunt, Bridget James, Tracy Coots, Nathan Wiggins, Sierra Wiggins, Lukas Wiggins, great-grandchildren; Sean Henson, Blayne Hunt, Paris Henson, Beckett Minton, Kelsey James, Bryan James, Addison James, Hayden Coots, Chase Geary, Jacen Wiggins, Camila Wiggins, Mira Wiggins. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home, Hartford, with the Rev. Pete Leach officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 at the funeral home and after 9 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Second Baptist Church, 1011 White Ave.
