Paul William Pierce, 77, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Twin Rivers Nursing. He was born November 16, 1941 in Daviess County, KY to the late Paul and Evelyn Barnett Pierce. Paul retired after 36 years from Whirlpool Corp.

, and was in the Marine Reserves. He coached Western Little League and Cliff Hagan Boys Club where he received the Man & Boy Award. Paul bowled for the same team for 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Roxanna Yanez in 2014. Survivors include a daughter, Stacy Bunch (Donnie) of Utica; a son, William Pierce of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Kevin “K.C.” Tucker, Derek Tucker, Amber Beatty, Samantha Yanez and Audrey Yanez; two great-grandchildren, Luke Harris and Kayson Rainey; his friend and mother of his children, Bonnie Pierce; son-in-law, David Yanez; a brother, Floyd Pierce (Julie) and a sister, Louise Head, both of Owensboro. Services will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 in the chapel at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. The family would especially like to thank Allison Bowlds at Twin Rivers for her special care of Paul. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Boys & Girls Club, 3415 Buckland Square, Owensboro, KY 42301.
