Obituary for Mary Linda Miller Sikes Mary Linda Miller Sikes, 63, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Select Speciality Hospital in Evansville. She was born on December 24, 1954 in Stanley, Kentucky to the late Melvin H. and Alice R. Young Miller. Mary was a member of Garden Green Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Sikes, her niece Lori Cox, her brother Kenneth Miller, and that dog that she loved, Mel Mel. Mary is survived by her children Sonya (Jeremy) Collings and Jason Galloway, both of Owensboro. She is also survived by her siblings: Melvin Miller, Judy (J.R.) Payne, and Ricky (Brenda Miller), all of Owensboro; and Janice Drake from Cromwell, Kentucky.

Services will be 11:00 am Monday, December 17, 2018 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, and 10:00 am to 11:00 am Monday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Mary Linda Miller Sikes Memorial Fund, c/o Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory; 519 Locust Street; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301.
