Obituary for James “Buster” Carroll James “Buster” Carroll, 83, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born June 27, 1935 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Ever Carrol and Artie Johnson Carroll. James was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was retired from the Commonwealth Aluminum Lewisport, and was a U.S. Army veteran. James enjoyed the farm life. Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by sister, Martha Mattingly.

James is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gloria Stinnett Carroll, and his sister, Lynn Conrad, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 12:30 pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastor Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
