Cecil Mack Harvey passed from this life Saturday, January 26, 2019. A visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2019 from 6 – 8 PM at Heartland Funeral Home and a Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Rocky Creek Cemetery on Hwy 279 north of Brownwood. Cecil Mack Harvey was born in Stamford, Texas to Melvin and Margaret Harvey on March 21, 1935.

Cecil operated and managed grocery stores most of his life. He married Elaine Madrid in Ysleta, Texas on April 17, 1955 and their union was blessed with four children. Cecil was a Dallas Cowboy fan and loved fishing.

He really loved coaching little league and basketball. Cecil was a loving and dedicated man to his work and his family. Cecil is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Elaine Harvey; daughter, Kathy DeLoof of Brownwood, TX; sons David Harvey of Brownwood, TX and Bruce Harvey of Desert Hot Springs, CA; sisters, Lillie Harvey, Odia Mae Harvey both of El Paso; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
