Biography Funeral Services for Mr. Cecil W. Revels will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 3:00 p. m. at the First United Methodist Church in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Pastor Kenny Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma. Cecil Warren Revels, 68 of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, passed away November 16, 2018, in Sherman, Texas.

Cecil was born August 21, 1950, in Bushnell, Florida. He graduated from South Sumter High School in 1968. He worked for Florida Farm Bureau, Bushnell, Florida, then moved to Tishomingo, Oklahoma, to pursue his passion for cattle ranching.

He enjoyed, and participated in ranch rodeos, and team roping events. He also enjoyed hunting/fishing, and spent many happy hours in the woods with family and friends. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Linden, Florida, and then the First United Methodist Church of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Cynthia, and six children: Anna (Nate) Jameson and Cindy (Kenny) Williams of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; Amy (Skip) Lockwood, Ashley (Scott) Wood, Abbey (Jerrod) Hagood, all of Tishomingo, and Austin Revels, also of Tishomingo, currently serving in the Marines, stationed at MCAS New River, North Carolina, and 13 grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters: Jackie (Tom) Peterson, Mike (Shirley) Revels of Bushnell, Florida, Harrell (Sandy) Revels, Gary (Liz) Revels of Linden, Florida, and Debbie (Matt) Dryden, Jr., of Marianna, Florida, along with numerous nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Wilma Revels, his sister Sybil (Fred) Furlong, and sister-in-law Cindy Revels.
