Celine T. Zelinski, 87, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born October 7, 1930 in Chicago, daughter of the late Gustave and Anna (Haas) Springer. On April 17, 1993 she married Dan Zelinski at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau.

Celine retired from Kmart after many years. She then enjoyed working as a bus monitor until the age of 86. She loved planting flowers, dancing, roller skating and an occasional trip to the casino.

She also enjoyed collecting elephant and angel statues. Survivors include her husband, Dan Zelinski; children, Dave Zajicek, Dan (Diane) Zajicek and Shari (Craig) Engelhardt; grandchildren, Michelle (Nick) Paul, Renee Zajicek, Nicole Zajicek, Elise (Chase) Martinez, Claire Engelhardt, and Alyssa Engelhardt; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Marian, Micah, Anna, Jackson and David; sisters, Marie Anderson and Doris Hullinger; brother Reverend Lawrence Springer Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by Len Zajicek and son, Jim Zajicek. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 7 from 11:00 until the start of mass at St. Anne’s church in Wausau.

Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 with Rev. Frank Corradi presiding. Private burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau on Monday.
