Cremation has taken place. Chandra J. Lyng Myers passed away peacefully in her home and went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2019.

She was a loving and lovable daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, step-daughter and Tia. She was born to Scott and Kathryn Herrell Lyng on February 9, 1975. Kathy and Scott later divorced.

Kathy and her two daughters, Chandra and Shallan, moved to Bozeman, Mt in 1980 so Kathy could attend Montana State University. They lived there until 1985 when they moved to the farm SW of Plentywood; attending school in Plentywood until graduation in 1993. Chandra worked part-time at various jobs in Plentywood and helped her step-father on the farm.

Fall of 1993 she attended Minot State University pursuing a degree in Elementary Special Education. In 1998 she married Don Myers and moved to Haze, MN. She later divorced and then moved to Massachusetts in 2001 to be near her sister Shallan.

She immediately became a loving aunt (Tia) to her nephews Jaden and Xavier. She began working at Humboldt Storage and Moving in 2002 and at the time of her death was the Senior Revenue Analyst. She was adored by her supervisors and fellow employees & took tremendous pride at a job where she excelled.

A silent memorial is planned for her at her office at 11:00 am on April 12; coinciding with her services in Plentywood MT. Chandra loved spending time with her family, especially her nephews who were “her heart”. She enjoyed travelling, whether it be coming home to the farm or a family vacation to Fort Collins, CO, or Stevensville and Hamilton, MT.

She enjoyed going to the movies, the beach and making Christmas crafts for those she loved. She lovingly took care of her dog Chalupe’ for 15 years. Chalupe’ is now cared for and adopted by her work supervisor, Nick.

Everybody who had the pleasure of knowing Chandra will always remember her as “A Beautiful Soul”. She put everyone before herself and always had a very kind heart. She will be missed by everyone and will always be her mother’s favorite brown eyed baby girl and we all love you to “The Moon and Back”.

She is survived by her parents Kathryn Herrell and Eldon Krogstad; father Scott and wife Janet Lyng; her sister Shallan and husband Elpidio Estrada and their children Jaden and Xavier; her brother Aaron Krogstad; stepsister Amy Krogstad and husband Rob Miller and children Madeline, Katherine, Noah, Luke; half-sister Kara and husband Stephen Zahnow and children Angus, Hazel, and Emelia; half-sister Kayla and husband Steve Webber and their child Mason.
