Obituary for Charleen Hecker Charleen Ann Hecker, 76, of Baltimore MD who resided in Ridgely MD since 2012, passed away on June 27, 2018 in Newark, DE. She was born on July 6, 1941 in Baltimore to the late Frederick W. Kacher, Jr and Mildred Ludloff Kacher. Mrs. Hecker attended Eastern High School graduating in 1959 and went on to earn Graduate Cum Laude degree from University of MD later in life while working as a Procurement Manager at T. Rowe Price.

On October 10, 1964 she married Donald Edward Hecker; they had two daughters Chardon and Diana. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hecker is preceded in death by twin grandsons Zeph Andrew Gourley and Zachary Ian Gourley. She is survived by her husband Donald of Baltimore who resides in Ridgely; daughters Chardon Lynn Hecker of Denton MD, and Diana Lee Gourley of Henderson MD; son-in-law Brian Russell Gourley, grandchildren Zephan Zach Gourley and Zoe Allison Gourley; brothers Frederick W. Kacher, III of Fairfax, VA and Wayne I. Kacher, Sr. of Bel Air, MD; also many dear family, sister-in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at New Life Wesleyan Church in Greensboro, MD with a visitation one hour prior and gathering after. A celebration of life gathering will be at Conrad’s Restaurant in Perry Hall MD Saturday, July 14, 2018 1:00 – 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be checks payable to His Hope Ministries PO Box 31 Goldsboro MD 21636.
