Charlene Martin Williams July 20, 1953 – May 15, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book East Bend Mrs. Charlene Martin Williams, 65, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Williams was born July 20, 1953 in Forsyth County to James and Annie Ruth Johnson Martin. She was a member of Shady Grove UMC and enjoyed every second spent with her two grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Robson Williams; and a sister-in-law, Sherry Henley. She is survived by a daughter, Amy (Farron) Jester; two grandchildren, Reagan & Riley Jester; two sisters, Linda (Steve) Smith and Donna Walker; a brother, Tony (Linda) Martin; sister-in-law, Patricia (Odell) Hutchens; brother-n-law, Johnny (Debbie) Williams; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Sunday May 19, 2019 at Shady Grove UMC in East Bend with Rev. Dr. Lauren Anderson and Rev. Josh Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shady Grove UMC Cemetery Fund, 4201 Shady Grove Church Road, East Bend, NC 27018. Online condolences may be made at www.
