Obituary for Charlene (O’Donnell) Chain Heaven gained another angel as Charlene (O’Donnell) Chain, 71, of Southington, passed away on Sunday, July 8th following a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born in Southington on January 29, 1947, the daughter of the late James J. and Caroline (Mongillo) O’Donnell. Besides her loving husband of 44 years, William Chain, Charlene is survived by her daughters Michelle Ormsby and her husband Michael Ormsby of Plainville, CT, and Melissa Boyes and her husband Philip Boyes of Barlow, England, grandchildren Matthew and Emma Boyes, brother James O’Donnell and his wife Karen O’Donnell of Key Largo, Florida and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13th at 9:15am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Thomas Church at 10 am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 12th from 4-7pm.
