Charles Albert LeBaron February 23, 1945 – May 11, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Charles Albert LeBaron, 74 of Atlanta, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his residence. Born February 23, 1945 in Winnfield, he was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Marie Dewitt LeBaron; siblings, Susie Smith, Alice Horn and Bobby “Bobcat” LeBaron. Charles proudly served his country as Sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict from 1968-74.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved, laughed and lived to the fullest. He was always smiling and joking with everyone. His greatest achievement was that he was proud of his family.

He said God truly blessed him to be able to see them grow up and become the strong, loving people they are. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Allie Victoria “Vickie” Martin LeBaron; children, Shannon Caskey (Gary), Charles J. LeBaron (Tonya) and Dusty LeBaron (Sarah); grandchildren, Geoff Dalton Caskey, Drayton Caskey, Brendon LeBaron, Haley Caskey and Bryonna LeBaron; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in the Atlanta Baptist Church with Rev.

Chad James officiating. Interment will follow in Atlanta Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Friends may visit with the family in the church on Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until services.

Serving as pallbearers, David LaPraire, John Jones, Daniel Coleman, Micky Hoffpauir, Geoff Dalton Caskey and Drayton Caskey. Honorary pallbearers, Brendon LeBaron, Tommy Horn, Garland Kidd, Roger Smith, Ronnie Finklea, Roger Hanson and Kenneth Gray. A special thank-you to our friends and family for the love and support and prayers during this time of need.

Thank-you for the care from VAMC in Alexandria, Winn Parish Medical Center, Rapides General Hospital and Legacy Hospice of Winnfield.
