Charles Autry Hensely, age 79, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge. He was born on April 14, 1940 in Buncombe County to the late Tony R. and Lillian Reed Hensley. Charles worked as a maintenance man for Walmart stores and was a member of Berea Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters. Charles is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jeanne Ellen Gudger Hensley; his daughter, Revonda Ellen Hensley of Asheville; his brother, Tony A. Hensley of Asheville; two nieces; and six nephews. A private graveside service will be held by the family at Grassy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev.
