Obituary for Charles “Bud” Haywood Sr. Charles “Bud” Haywood, Sr., 90, passed away at Nazareth Home on December 1, 2018. One of six children, he was born in Louisville, Ky on December 14, 1927, to the late John William Haywood, Sr and Gertrude Riney Haywood. Along with his family, he owned and operated Haywood’s Dairy.

Bud was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 65 years, Leslie Mae Haywood; brother John Haywood, Jr; sisters Clara Eigel, Sister Lucille Haywood, and Celeste Siemens. Left to cherish his memory are his children, sons Charles (Kathy) Haywood, Jr, Steven (Wendy) Haywood; daughters Cheryl (Bill) Janes, Mary Lu (Dan) Richardson, Barbara (Dale Stringer) Barnett, Shaun Breit, Paula (Darrell) Adkins, Colleen (Mike Lodise) Haywood; sister Agnita Heer, 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00am Friday, December 7 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 501 Cherrywood Rd. with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8p.m. Thursday, December 6 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd.
