Bud was born August 11, 1940 in Florala to Oscar Lee and Annie Lee Worley. He married Carolyn Joyce Watson on June 11, 1958 in Florala.

He worked in the forestry field, transportation/trucking and his last job was with Scott Bridge in Opelika in which he retired at age 70. Bud loved to read, sit on his back porch enjoying a cold beverage and watching his garden grow. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Billie, Hazel, Tess, Juanita, Eunice and Aileen.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Watson Worley and 7 children; William Charles Jr (Lynne), John (Gail), Kim (Sam), Terri, Mark (Cindy), Steve (Ashley), Shannon (Michael), 33 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Charles William (Bud) Worley Jr will be 12PM Saturday February 2, 2019 from Evans Funeral Home with Samuel May officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services (11AM).
