Charles D. “Chuck” Pahls 62 of Charlestown died Sunday, September 23, 2018. He was born April 14, 1956 in Ravenna to Francis and Lily (Chudanov) Pahls. Charles retired after 42 years of service with the CSX Ralroad, where he was a Bridge Foreman.

Following his retirement, he drove a truck for Patrick Trucking. Survivors include his wife of 12 years Lois (Damron), siblings Jim Pahls, John Pahls, Richard (Ingrid) Pahls, David (Liz) Pahls, Mark (Ruby) Pahls, Steve (Vickie) Pahls, Ron (Connie) Pahls, Gloria (Thomas) Tinlin and Cynthia Miller, sisters in law Suzanne (Tom Baker) Pahls, Anita (Dave Kandel) Pahls, Trish Bretz, Sandra (Gary) Yost and Vanessa (Edwin) Wiland, brother in law Miles (Dawna) Damron and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Thomas Pahls.

Memorial calling hours will be from 5 PM to 7 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Private burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna with Father William Kraynak officiating.
