Eathel R. Dean 83 of Ravenna died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at his home. He was born July 17, 1935 in Clay Co., WV to Ernest and Carshul (Willey) Dean. Eathel helped build and was a member of the Blackhorse Baptist Church.

He was a foundry worker for A.C. Williams in Ravenna. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Janie (Wiggins), children Carl Edward “Eddy” (Joanne) Dean, Deborah J. (John) Brown and Carolyn Sue Boling, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and siblings Della Natola, Helen Barko, Elizabeth Tallman, Jeannie and Mikey Dean. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Robert Wayne Dean and numerous brothers and sisters.

There will be no calling hours, a funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 7, 2018 at the chapel at Grandview Memorial Park with Pastor Thomas P. Mesaros officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Grandview Memorial Park.
