Norman C. Patterson, 83, of Randolph passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born August 17, 1935 in Mantua, Ohio to the late Frederick and Dorothy (Dickinson) Patterson. Norm had lived in Randolph since 1999 and was a retired maintenance man from Furon in Mantua.

He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing and was a member of the Muskies Inc. Fishing Club and the Portage County Coon Hunters Assoc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Stover) Patterson in December of 1983, his siblings Vera Hopkins and William Criblez. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Pam (Keith) Kaiser of Ravenna, Michelle Jones of Randolph, his grandchildren Amanda (Rob) Rufener, Kenny (Brittany) Kaiser, Zac (Kendra) Jones, Brady (Ashley Smithberger) Jones, Jesse (Laurin) Jones, Casey Jones and his great grandchildren Lexi, Kyleigh, Cole, Paisley, Logan and Jameson.

At his request, cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be from 11AM to 1 PM Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel followed by a graveside service at 1:30 PM in Hillside Cemetery, Mantua, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Portage County Animal Protective League.
