Glen Carlisle Mathena entered his eternal rest on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, where he is reunited with his Savior and beloved wife Ann of 66 years. Glen was born July 4, 1934, in Kent, Ohio to the late Foster and Viola Mathena. Glen was a machinist, photographer, woodworker, and locksmith.

He lived most of his life in Kent and was a member of Ravenna Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his children, Lisa of Kent, Larry of Colorado, Steve of Florida, Dave (Pat) of Kent, and Scott of Kent; nine grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald and sister Iris.

Calling hours will be 6-8 PM on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Gary Beck will officiate a service at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Ravenna Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Ravenna, Ohio.
