OBITUARY Charles Durant Glenn, Sr. April 25, 1937 – December 27, 2018 GASTON – Funeral services for Charles Durant Glenn, Sr., 81, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Glenn was born April 25, 1937 and passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

He was the son of the late Colie and Annie Laura Busbee Glenn. He retired from the Department of Education. Mr. Glenn is survived by his wife, Shirley Glenn, of Gaston; son, Charles “Durant” Glenn, Jr. of Gaston; daughter, Dianne Simpson (Dale) of Gaston; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas “Sam” Glenn.
